Celebrex Relief® is for short-term pain relief from muscle and joint injuries, including back pain or ankle strain; and also for period pain.
Celebrex Relief is a 10 pack of celecoxib 200mg capsules. A COX-2 Selective NSAID for short-term pain relief from muscle and joint injuries, including back pain or ankle strain; and period pain. Available without a prescription, after consultation with a pharmacist. "Directions for use (Adults 18+) First day: 2 capsules (initial dose). Subsequent days (no more than 4 days): 1 capsule once or twice daily as required (maximum 2 capsules in 24 hours). Swallow capsule whole with water; with or without food. Do not use for more than 5 days at a time unless advised by a doctor. "
"Do not take: • If you have asthma, unless advised by a doctor. • If you are allergic to celecoxib, other anti-inflammatories, sulfonamides or any of the inactive ingredients. • If you have heart problems causing chest pain, had a heart attack or stroke in the last 3 months, or have heart failure. • If you have liver or kidney problems. • If you have a stomach ulcer or intestinal bleeding. • Together with other products containing aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines used to treat pain and inflammation. • If trying to become pregnant, or during the first 6 months of pregnancy, except on a doctor’s advice. Do not use at all during the last 3 months of pregnancy. • If you are aged 65 years or over, unless advised by a doctor. Ask your pharmacist or doctor before using: • If you have heart disease. • If you have diabetes, high blood pressure or high cholesterol. • If you have previously had a stomach ulcer or intestinal bleeding. • If you have fluid retention causing swelling in the feet/ankles/legs. • If you currently have an infection. • If you are taking other medicines regularly. While using this medicine: • Do not exceed the recommended dose. Excessive use can be harmful and increase the risk of heart attack, stroke or liver damage. • If you get an allergic reaction, stop taking and see your doctor immediately. • Remind any doctor, dentist, pharmacist, surgeon or anaesthetist that you are taking this medicine. • Tell your doctor if your symptoms do not improve. • Avoid alcohol and smoking. This product contains lactose, phenylalanine and sulfites."
