Betadine Anaesthetic Lozenges are recommended for the relief of symptoms associated with a sore throat. Adults and children over 6 years: Dissolve 1 lozenge slowly in the mouth, every 2 to 3 hours, as required. Maximum 12 lozenges per day. Adults and children over 6 years: Dissolve 1 lozenge slowly in the mouth, every 2 to 3 hours, as required. Maximum 12 lozenges per day.
Do not use if you are allergic to benzydamine or other anti-inflammatory medicines. If you get an allergic reaction, stop taking and see your doctor immediately. If symptoms persist see your pharmacist or doctor. Keep out of reach from children. Do not use for children under 6 years Do not use if foil seal is broken Do not consume hot food or drinks soon after using this product as it may burn your mouth. This product contains 30.9g isomalt per 12 lozenges; isomalt may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea. The presence of the antibacterial agent in this product has not been shown to have a beneficial effect on the severity or duration of a sore throat.
