Return Of Unwanted And Expired Medications

Do you have medications in your home that you don’t need, or have expired? Leaving medicines around can be dangerous for you and your family, and disposing of it incorrectly can be harmful to the environment.

We care about the health of every Australian as well as our beautiful country. That’s why we offer a FREE unwanted and expired medicine disposal service!

It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3… or in this case, Read, Remove, Return

Read: Check around the parts of your home where you keep medicine. Read all of their labels and keep an eye out for any that have passed their use-by dates and put them aside. Consider what remains and ask yourself if you really need to hang onto them.

Remove: Gather up all of the unwanted medicines, and put them into a bag or container for transportation.

Return: Visit your local TerryWhite Chemmart and hand them over for safe disposal.

We’re proud to be a part of this fantastic world-first initiative. If you’d like to find out some more information about Return Unwanted Medicines (The RUM Project), please visit
