Monitor Your Heart Health
TerryWhite Chemmart can happily help by doing a Heart Health Check. If you would like to know more about your cardiovascular health, we recommend you book an appointment for a Heart Health check, which:
- Takes only 20 minutes
- Involves getting your blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol checked
- Calculates your body mass index (BMI) and waist measurements
- A fee may apply
What happens during a Heart Health Check?
During the Heart Health Check, the TerryWhite Chemmart pharmacist will also provide advice specific to your heart’s health, and suggest lifestyle changes to help reduce your risk of developing heart disease and/or prevent an existing condition from getting worse. If required, the pharmacist will provide a referral to your GP for further investigation.

Monitor Your Heart Health
Cardiovascular disease includes stroke, heart disease, high blood pressure, and the narrowing or clogging of the blood vessels or arteries that can lead to severe chest pain (commonly referred to as angina) or a heart attack.
There may not be obvious symptoms of cardiovascular disease, which means that regularly discussing your heart health with your GP or TerryWhite Chemmart pharmacist can help you identify any risk factors that may apply to you.
Several factors can affect your likelihood of suffering from heart disease, including:
- Level of physical activity
- High blood pressure or blood cholesterol
